Privacy policy
Who we are
Inkmote is operated by Gocnet Technologies LLP, Bengaluru, Karnataka, India. Contact our team about privacy or your account.
What we collect
Google sign-in provides an account identifier and verified email. School learners can also use a unique learner ID and PIN; PINs are stored as hashes, not readable numbers. We also store the name you provide, your account role, and learner details such as name, board, grade and academic year.
School accounts may include class lists, parent contact details, staff assignments and invitation records. Learning records include answers, attempts, help used, lesson and game progress, and active learning time.
Work you submit can include typed answers, handwriting or recordings when a learning activity asks for them. Basic technical logs help us operate and protect the service.
How we use it
We use this information to provide lessons, save progress, suggest learning steps, show progress dashboards, connect families and schools, and resolve support or security issues.
Who can see learning records
Learners and their connected parents can access their learning records. School administrators can access enrolled learners; teachers can access their assigned classes. School invitations connect these accounts.
Hosting and service providers process information needed to run Inkmote. Google handles sign-in. If you use an AI-assisted feature, the submitted question, text or ink image and relevant learning context may be sent to the configured AI provider, including Google or OpenRouter. Prepared lessons and games do not require live AI calls.
Payments
Dodo Payments handles parent subscriptions and payment details. We keep billing identifiers, subscription status and access dates; we do not store full card details. School payments are arranged with our team, and school administrators allocate purchased seats.
Cookies and device storage
We use session cookies for sign-in and learner selection. Browser storage keeps preferences and unfinished work. Signing out ends access on that browser; shared-device users should also clear saved local work.
Keeping and managing information
We retain records to provide your account and learning history, meet applicable obligations and handle security issues. To request access, correction or deletion, email us. We may need to verify your connection to the account or learner.
Parents and school administrators can contact us about a child’s records. If a school manages the account, we may coordinate the request with that school.
